Good day and a safe one for you all!
I bring you adorable arts from RavenPuff again.
Poor Lt. Lotus, she gets the bottom of the barrel worth of troops, but they are hidden diamonds.
Roan RPG has another update in the works, and then finally, laying it all out and working with artists to fill in the pages with awesome Ponies fighting!
Figure its a bit of cabin fever for us all, but stay strong and keep your heads up, well all make it through this tough time, and have quite a tale to share in the future!

Speaking of WaW, the next version of the book is going out to backer, and art is slowly beginning to roll in.
I’m going to begin rolling out sections this weekend to my editor for layout, and get this book wrapped up for many of you all!

So some production will be a tad slower, especially for artist who need commission work to be able to live during these interesting times.
Work is going well, I’ve sent out a new version of the “Price is Chaos” magic system which, if it works well, will replace the Roan RPG system’s magic rules.
Vehicles have been changed for the final time, with players no longer purchasing a vehicle on a per vehicle basis, rather, they will now purchase a Package which contains multiple vehicles for a Platoon based upon the task required.
Be safe you all, and remember, never insult a bot-pony, you never know who she is friends/related too!

These ponies are doing their part to keep things clean, are you!
With Covid-19 out and about, folks should remember to stay calm and keep a good habit of washing your hands, not coughing on people (use that elbow as a sneeze guard) and once again keeping calm!
Roan is in the final tweaks of magic and equipment, and then I can begin sending the draft out to CatsPaw for editing and layout, once the layout is done, artist can begin filling in for the required locations of the book!
Stay safe out there folks and be careful! With any luck, I will be seeing you all in California come April for Babscon!
If not, I’ll see you all next time, important to be safe, but still go and support your favorite artists and writers, as this will be some tough times for them!

Good day to you all!
I have been working on the Skill list for Roan World at War, which also involves a lot of editing when one realizes that certain skills don’t fit very well on a Platoon level.
With these changes, also comes the need to redefine what a Skill Specialization is and Skill Branches (normally called Specialized Skills in the HEX system…bit confusing there.)
The system shares some ground rules with HEX, but over all, it is a completely different system due to its nature of commanding a platoon, as well as extreme abstraction of warfare.
As well, a donation has been made to the 160th Night Stalkers foundation, and I’m just waiting on the finalization and receipt.
All that aside, I do hope you all are as eager for Turkey day as I am!
More importantly, I will be attending Babscon as a guest, and I shall be running a special game of Roan World at War for players who wish to join!
I’m extremely excited to be able to see many friends again, and I do hope you all are ready to support this great con so we can continue to meet new people!

Things have been a bit busy at work, but it hasn’t stopped me from getting to my own work!
Roan World at War is currently sitting near 90 pages as I work out the Equipment List packages. Its been doing well, the rules are starting to look solid, and I will be sending an update to my beta-testers!

Babscon and Roan – 4/05/2019
Just hope that I don’t get lost at the airport terminal because I am headed to Babscon in a little over a week folks!
You’ll be able to meet myself as well as Baron Engel at Table B7!
Got plenty of new treasures for you all to stop by and pickup! As well as the return of the Roan Brass Pins! Coming from the same place that one would have their military pins made!
Along with the pins, I’ve got holographic stickers of Engel and regular stickers of some of the Roan crew, done by the ever wonderful RavenPuff!
Plus a Petina coaster for all you Petina supporters, show the show pony some love!
As always for every Roan Pin sold, a donation will be made by me to the Night Stalker 160th Foundation in support of the Special Operations Air Regiment members!
